LoanMaker LMSP COBOL Engine

PROM's LoanMaker LMSP Product is a fully-featured installment loan product for mainframe environments.  It is a computational engine (sometimes called a "financial calculator") that is designed to be integrated into a mainframe environment.  The Engine does the hard, mathematical work to solve loans.  It is integrated into the mainframe environment as a procedure which is linked into the client's systems.

We customize each LMSP Engine to suit the client's needs exactly.

The LMSP product is in use by a number of ACAPS (American Management Systems) and FICO (Fair Issac & Co) users.

The LMSP COBOL procedures provide the mathematical computations for nearly any type of installment loan, including skipped payments, irregular payment amounts or patterns, balloon payments, and so forth.

LoanMaker LMSP provides credit life and disability insurance for any U.S. state, and it can have 50, 100 or more insurance plans on line, ideal for multi-state lenders.

The LMSP COBOL 85 source code, customized for your particular application, is provided to licensees under a Software License and Non-Disclosure Agreement.  The source code is compiled on the licensee's systems.

We also provide a Web Service for testing purposes that is compiled directly from the LMSP source code for your particular installation.  To test the implementation, you can run the Web Service version side-by-side with the mainframe implementation to make sure the results agree.  We provide a number of specially selected test loans and of course you are free to generate any sample loans and run them on both the LMSP Engine and Web Service.

A one-time license fee provides the licensee with a fully-paid, perpetual license to use the software on any computer system they own or rent.

Full support is provided, including on-site assistance, if required.  Updates and maintenance are available on an as-needed basis - there are no ongoing maintenance or usage fees..
